MMT and degrowth are very good ideas. Unfortunately, plutocracy is very resistant to reform. That’s why 35 years after NASA warned Congress in public hearings about the climate crisis, the United States is the biggest oil producing nation in history and CO2 emissions are at record levels.

They are destroying the habitability of the Earth at top speed.

So, we must ultimately have a general strike and bring down all the extractive greedy systems, including Russian and Chinese dictatorships, Western plutocracies, Mid-East skeikdoms and many, many others.

The survival of our children, our species, and our ecosystems require it.

We will do it all, with fierce unyielding Gandhian action.
