Neither business nor governments have done anything meaningful about the climate crisis in the 40+ years that they’ve known about it. As of today, CO2 emissions are at record levels and oil companies have plans to increase production.

I think your faith that business will suddenly reverse course at this late date and save the Earth is touching.

The Earth can still (probably) be saved…but I doubt that the institutions and people who have repeatedly failed will be the ones to do so.
