No change will come from above. No change will come via the systems we have in place—basically plutocracy.

But change CAN come—quickly and powerfully. Unexpectedly. As it did for the Soviet Union. Now, we need worldwide change—to save Nature. To rescue our grievously damaged Earth. To offer our children a future.

But the change can and must come from us. A small number will be the vanguard, will show the way, will inspire others. Will inspire billions who care but are traumatized, feel alone, feel powerless, feel despair.

It all begins with SPEAKING OUT forcefully and directly…showing others that we must not remain silent. And then, DEFIANT ACTION—breaking rules, laws and norms that are killing us. From boycotts to sabotage of fossil fuel infrastructure (the modern equivalent of bombing the train tracks to Auschwitz), to open and relentless ridicule of “powerful people” and “authorities.” And those who work for those “leaders” will walk off the job. As will police officers, Wall Street workers, debt collectors. Everyone in a destructive job—especially in the fossil fuel industry—can light the way with defiance.
