No. Early retirement is brilliant. It’s like rising from the dead.

Obsession with the rat race, and actually identifying with the rat race is like self-immolation.

Your purpose in life isn’t to create financial value for others…usually a few undeserving wealthy layabouts.

It’s completely off-base to think that income-producing activity is all that matters.

When you retire, you have the opportunity to awaken from the fever-dream and actually live. It’s the opportunity to be your true self.

Time is your life…not money or fame. And under the terrible system and values of the world we live in, we waste our time in the trivial pursuit of wealth at the expense of everything else, everything that is truly valuable.

I find it tragic.
