Not a single one of the COP meetings produced an agreement sufficient to combat the climate crisis. Even the highly praised Paris Agreement was totally useless.

This is TWENTY EIGHT catastrophic failures in a row. C02 emissions are at record levels, still increasing and the climate is collapsing right now. The writing is on the wall.

Leaders everywhere have failed completely. I personally doubt they ever even tried. But whether their failure is one caused by mendacity, greed or incompetence does not matter.

We must refuse to follow them one step further towards the abyss. We must demand an immediate worldwide emergency program, led by competent climate scientists, to meet the crisis.

This effort must be promoted and supported by sane and caring people everywhere. The effort has (just) begun.
