Nowadays, especially after COVID, menus seem to have limited options. But the best restaurants have really good choices, even if there are fewer of them.
You can choose what restaurant you go to. But you can’t choose what life you were born into or on which planet. You were born HERE and you are offered only whatever you are offered.
Life on Earth in the civilizations into which we were born also have limited menus. And the choices are not good. The waiter makes recommendations and it’s easy, even tempting to order what he suggests. In fact, that’s what most of us do.
Dissatisfaction
Often, the waiter offers to explain the menu, to tell you how it works. Perhaps, at this restaurant, they serve “family style,” which means they bring out the food when it’s ready — not when YOU want it. They do this even though YOU are paying. The waiter may suggest how many items to order from each section of the menu. And, you can be sure, he will tell you to “enjoy!”
Telling you to “enjoy” might be the only good advice he offers. It’s possible that you WILL “enjoy” and that your experience will be a good one. But by limiting your choices, to those being offered, there’s a really good…
