Our group, The Saners, takes a different approach. We intend to use Gandhian tactics to dis-empower the failed authorities that protect Big Oil and endanger the Earth. We offer an alternative to our insane course. We won't wait for authorities to change or to capitulate; we will go over their heads if necessary.
Our approach is 1) for us, the sane and caring people of Earth, to declare a worldwide emergency; 2) to assemble a team of scientists to develop a worldwide climate emergency plan, 3) to fully support the plan and oppose every rule, authority, action, law or norm that impedes the plan, 4) to establish a better society based on humane values, and dispose of political and economic ideologies that favor stuff and power and greed over the well being of people and over Nature Herself.
