Patriots Will End A Trump Administration — Not By Protest, But By Noncooperation

I am canvassing for Harris and hope she will become the next president. But I don’t know who will win. Nobody does.

That said, I have a plan to remove a self-confessed dictator wannabe. I hope it won’t be necessary, but that if it is, you will join me.

How Power Works

Everyone who wields power needs the consent—no more than consent—the active support of a large portion of those over whom he wields power. Abusive power requires the victims to do the bidding of the leaders.

Without enough followers, without people actively believing and supporting lies, there can be no tyrant. People can like the tyrant, but that’s useless. They would need to actively and doggedly work hard to carry out his cruelty.

If willing workers don’t do everything required to deport millions of brown people—as Trump is proposing and will undoubtedly order if he wins—well, without people DOING IT, it does not happen. This would not only prevent this particular attempt at widespread abuse; it would expose the weakness of the leader. This would make additional defiance easier, and for millions of Americans, irresistible.
