People are unhappy for a variety of reasons—having a purpose is the EASY one because corporations can make up some crap and not have to pay an additional dime.

I’ve always heard that the heart of capitalism is that supply meets demand. Apparently, many companies aren’t offering enough to attract workers. And then they bitch that people are lazy. How is that working out for employers?
