People Don’t Want To Work To Serve Narcissistic Elites, or Ruin the Planet Before Our Children Can Inherit It.

This is how you answer the assertion that people today are lazy. The truth is that they are awakening to their abuse. And they don’t like it.

I’m tired of hearing wealthy people who don’t need to work and executives who produce nothing but always tell us what to do, nagging and complaining: “People don’t want to work anymore!”

Aren’t you, also, tired of this?

Why would people NOT want to work? I mean, we’ve all been taught that work is necessary, that it builds character, that work gives us direction and meaning and that without it, our lives are empty and directionless.

Yes, we’ve been taught that crap. We probably even pass this crap along to our children. In many cases, our children understand this is bullcrap.

And perhaps that’s why “kids today don’t want to work.” Maybe it’s wisdom.

My favorite quote about work, by Charles Bukowski, makes it clearer than I ever could. You might want to commit this quote to memory:

“How in the hell could a man enjoy being awakened at 6:30 a.m. by an alarm clock, leap out of bed, dress, force-feed, piss, brush teeth, and fight traffic to get to a place where essentially…
