People will behave differently, I suppose, depending on whether you think it’s possible for you to have meaningful impact or not.

I may or may not be correct. But my awareness of Gandhi and Martin Luther King and Caesar Chavez makes me think hat ordinary people can have an impact.

Of course, in the long run we are all dead.
