Pinker IS right. But like every generation, we have our HUGE crisis and an obligation to address it. In our case, the big challenge (and obligation) is climate collapse.
Sadly, we are currently failing dismally. But it's not over yet. We have a budding movement to mobilize the masses—and not just a few passionate individuals—to save our children, the climate and the various species that share this Earth with us.
