Honoring our lives and our children with a commitment to them, to their planet and to each other.
Dear Children:
I am writing this letter to you with the knowledge that I will no longer be here, and the hope that you will be. If you are reading this, it is because I and many others like me decided to stand up for ourselves, for our planet and for you.
In my time, the world was being consumed by fires, two terrible fires. One was the great wildfire — both literal and figurative — of climate abuse. But the second fire was even more deadly. Foolish authorities everywhere, nominally representing various ideologies but really simply different small bands of privileged people ruthlessly dominating everyone else, they gaslit the entire Earth to continue their crazy scheme. The gaslighting of lies was the real fuel that kept the Earth burning.
We had to put out both fires simultaneously. We didn’t have money or official power to do it. But we did have water, life-giving water, in the form of love. Our love for our planet and our children. For you.
The authorities ignored us as if we didn’t exist. So did the media. And, for a long time, even the good and caring people of Earth, those who knew something was wrong — well, they failed to speak up for an embarrassingly long time.
