I am working to overcome my limitations, to keep our movement strong and advancing.
Previously, I had announced that, as founder of The Saners, I’d reached my limit. I would continue to work with the group, but needed new blood to go further.
Well, today, I am announcing that we are plowing ahead with what we’ve got now. I will continue to push past my “limits” because that’s what the situation requires. And I will do this joyfully because I’m happy to be alive and among my fellow humans. This existential challenge is one we all share together.
Yes, I looked for and (so far) failed to recruit experienced movement strategists, people who are forever students looking for better answers. I did not succeed. For now, it’s just you and me.
So, I am refocusing and recommitting myself to the cause. History shows that we can succeed. Not that we will, but that we can. As always, I feel a moral obligation to try my best. But not just that.
I feel enthusiasm. Because the rewards are meaningful, important and achievable. Because I know that billions are frustrated with our current circumstances and want a change. Because, although we need to operate within the systems we live, we are ready to expand beyond those narrow constricting borders of behavior.
