Podcast to Save the Earth

I’ve expanded to include podcasting among my climate/biosphere activism.

I attended a climate protest at City Hall, Philadelphia with a sign inspired by Greta Thunberg

I’m known (insofar as I’m “known”) as a climate writer here on Medium. And I am. But I’m only a writer as a means to an end. And now I am a podcaster, too, as a means to an end.

In fact, yesterday I just posted Episode 3 of “5 Minutes To Save The Earth.”

I want to reach people every way I can. My message is this: let’s band together to block the activities that are destroying the biosphere. The big activities by the big players. Gas and oil and coal. Microplastics. Over fishing. Clear cutting forests.

Stopping ecocide.

My contention is that WE can do it because WE — meaning sane caring people who want their children to inherit a habitable planet, and people who actually care about all the species with whom we share the Earth — vastly outnumber those who are destroying the biosphere for profit. And the “powerful people” are powerless without our active cooperation.

No cooperation, no ecocide.

Anyhow, my writing and my websites and now, my podcasts are all focused on the same goal. I’m not seeking to change minds. I’m seeking to turn latent activists into actual activists and resisters. Together, we can be an unstoppable force for good.
