Politicians, pollsters, economists, pundits and other “experts” never seem to understand what ordinary people are experiencing. Things get worse no matter who is in office. People have no job security and are barely getting by. Haven’t you seen all those statistics about how few people have enough for even a minor emergency?

At it’s not simply economics. They have no confidence in their leaders whatsoever. We realize that ultra-wealthy people “secretly” fund nearly every politician’s campaigns and policies are made for THEM. In a plutocracy, there is no public service.

Indeed, leadership WORLDWIDE in business and government is such a massive and catastrophic failure that the biosphere itself is collapsing—and this has been accelerated by the ultra-wealthy oil profiteers and the leaders they own.

So, yeah, people don’t feel good about the economy—and that their children may not even have a habitable planet to live on. I know this article is about the economy, but people don’t think that way—they think about their circumstances and the future. Neither looks good. In fact, our institutions look literally insane.
