Ok, American workers! Listen up.
Who knows nothing about how work is done, I mean how products and services are created and delivered? Who is absolutely clueless about this?
Right! Management! Every time.
Work gets done by the people who actually DO THE WORK despite interference by clueless management. Much of what working people do is develop and share tricks to get work done by getting around stupid management decisions that get in the way.
We ALL know this. And nobody in management knows this, or would believe it. Management actually thinks they know things, that they’re really smart. They think they are in management and not doing the real work (what they think of as menial work) because they’re better than you.
Isn’t that astonishing?
