Here in this article you are reading I am, I admit, daydreaming for the moment. Please indulge me. And remember I’ve proposed an actual plan — beyond protests which are useful but insufficient, to restore and expand women’s rights.
I urge you to read about my idea, and what I’m doing to move it forward. You may agree or disagree with it, but I think you understand that something must be done by we the people ourselves, because the government has viciously turned against women and is attempting to reduce women to the status of incubators.
For today, I want to talk about actual justice and what it would look like.
Clarence Thomas was elevated to the Supreme Court when Senators ignored and dismissed the credible accusation of sexual harassment by Anita Hill. Ms. Hill had little reason, other than telling the truth and restoring justice, to give her testimony. She knew that she’d be accused of lying and be subject to attacks and public humiliation. Thomas knew that, by lying and denying his guilt, he’d not only be believed, but he’d be confirmed to the Supreme Court. Indeed, the Senators confirmed Thomas, making them accomplices…
