Russia, Japan and the U.S. all demonstrated that humans are incompetent and dishonest in their ability to manage nuclear power.

That alone is enough to eliminate it from any future mix of renewable environmentally responsible energy sources.

Also, we should aim to have decentralized individual sources—ideally, solar power for every home. That is, near zero energy costs and zero CO2 emissions going forward after the panels and batteries are purchased and installed.

There’s no reason to allow anyone to control and ration and charge forever for energy that the sun provides for free.
