Sadly, the scenario you describe seems very very plausible. That said, I’m with Yogi Berra on the subject of prediction.

It’s very hard to predict, he noted. Especially about the future.

Things ARE dire and getting worse by the day. We need to stop predicting the future and start MAKING the future.

It’s literally insane to destroy the planet you live on. Some of us refuse to cooperate with the Sixth Extinction. More are joining us.

We have a plan, built on the principles of Gandhi and King. We don’t plan to go with a whimper. We don’t plan to go at all.

We plan to fight for our children, for Life, for Nature.
