Seems to me that scientists are cautious and careful and underestimated the speed and severity of the climate crisis. They are and have been anti-alarmists…

They gave us warnings decades ago and told us what to do—slash fossil fuels and C02 emissions. Our leaders in business—especially fossil fuel companies and Wall Street—did the exact opposite.

I think believing that, at this late date, industry and markets will save us when THEY CREATED AND PERPETUATED AND INTENSIFIED THE CRISIS is a naïveté born of ideology.

In fact, doing nothing and trusting leaders and markets will allow those fools to finish us all off—including their own children.

Sane and caring people must take control, listen to the scientists, and implement an emergency worldwide climate program based on SCIENCE, not politics or economics or ideology.
