Speak forcefully and directly. Tell the truth—incessantly.
That we all saw Trump incite a violent insurrection with our own eyes. That we all heard him tell the violent mob that he loved them.
That we can read and despite a ridiculous partisan ruling by the MAGA Supreme Court "Justices" (sic), Trump is ineligible to serve for exactly the same reason Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davis could not serve in elected office after the Civil War. Because he's a traitor.
That Trump is a confused 78 year old fossil who babbles repeatedly, praising the fictional mass murderer Hannibal Lector, and rambles about electrocution versus being eaten by sharks. The media does not show this meandering fool being himself—behaving like someone who needs to be institutionalized. Instead, we ignore his confusion or make excuses.
This itself is inexcusable.
But yes, Trump is a 4-year old in the body of an obese 78 year old , a sore loser who calls people names, a fool who believes windmills cause cancer.
He's a cruel person who insults dead American soldiers during a memorial at Normandy, who mocks people with disabilities.
He's a self-centered sadist with daddy issues. When 9/11 happened, he noted proudly on TV that now HIS building was the tallest in lower Manhattan.
His only message is one of hate—hate for brown people, hate for liberals, hate for women, hate, hate, hate. But what he really hates most is America and himself—because he respects neither.
But he's not important. He's an old man who wasted his life and now he's trying to destroy everyone and everything in his bitterness. What matters is the living.
What matters is your life, your children, your future. What matters is this Earth and the creatures on it and on what they do next.
Our planet is dying. We are allowing elites to kill it. Worse, we are actively helping the elites to kill it.
We can rage against systems—capitalism, plutocracy—but we need to fix the problem and not focus on the blame, on revenge. Doing so makes us fools like Donald Trump. He's out for revenge, to be a dictator.
We want to end the climate crisis and build a better civilization, one that rejects greed and selfishness and power lust as core values. We want the exact opposite of what Donald Trump wants.
We want kindness, generosity, love, compassion. We recognize that life is short, and we don't want any lives to be wasted as Trump chose to waste his. He's a bitter old man.
We want joy for ourselves and for others. We recognize that each of us gets a few short decades (at best) of this wondrous experience of consciousness, of life.
We also recognize that leaders everywhere have failed to deliver. They've failed so badly that they are on the brink of ruining the Earth so completely that humans, going forward, will struggle to barely survive on it.
This is unacceptable.
We need to elect Kamala Harris and crush the entire GOP in November, not because Harris is perfect, but because we have no time left for Trump and the GOP and their policy of universal death, his commitment to “drill drill drill.”
But voting and winning in November isn’t enough. The bigger part is standing up for our children and our planet and our own humanity.
WE CAN DO THIS. We’ve seen people power overthrow the most brutal of dictators, humble the most powerful empires. We’ve seen people power resist and overcome all kinds of cruelty and stupidity.
Now we need to speak up, to be first to give voice to the billions of sane and caring people worldwide who worry about climate collapse, who understand that we just has three of the hottest days in history, that business and political leaders everywhere are poised to drag us over the finish line of fatal climate collapse.
And we refuse to go there. We won’t follow them. We won’t repeat THEIR narratives. Instead, we will tell the most important truths, directly and clearly and incessantly. We won’t bother to respond to MAGA “points” (sic), because there’s no time left for bullcrap.
Here’s the thing.
The billionaires, the plutocrats, the Chinese Communist Party, Putin and all the other assholes of Earth are powerless without our active cooperation. They do nothing. They tell us to do. They threaten us if we disobey. Their only power is the threat of violence.
But even the police and militias are ordinary people, our spouses, our children, our loved ones. We will help them remember us and help them understand that the “authorities” are destroying everything for selfish reasons. That the authorities are insane, and that we need to stop doing everything for them.
That we can disempower them, that we can save the climate, and that we can replace this insane shitshow that passes (somehow) for “civilization” with a society that respects human beings, and all the creatures that share this beautiful planet with us.
This can work. I know this because people power has worked time and again—when executed properly with a solid strategy. We have the strategy. We need you. Getting started is the hardest part, but we have started.
We will ultimately simply NOT destroy the Earth. We will refuse to drill for oil, refuse to dig coal, refuse to refine fossil fuels. We will refuse to ship, sell, buy or burn them. We will end fossil fuels to save the planet from the Sixth Extinction, an extinction that would decimate the human race.

Look how fast movements grow. One peddler set himself aflame in Egypt and suddenly the Arab Spring inflamed the entire region. Several “strongmen” dictators were forced to flee.
The real strongmen and the people who do all the work. You and me and billions of others. The “leaders” are impotent once we start withdrawing our support.
No leaders have a vision. No leaders are offering us anything truly worthwhile. The status quo wants more of the same. Those leaders are unworthy of our respect, of our support.
