Sri Lanka. The old Soviet Union. The Berlin Wall. The Arab Spring. These are real events.

I'm sympathetic to your view, but I do not believe the systems and leaders who created this mess will fix it. They show no signs of doing so.

I trust scientists and engineers and the young. I don't trust politicians, ideologues, theologians, pundits. I think scientist and engineers know more than I do, and young people have skin in the game and care.

There's no screaming from rooftops. Just the reality that we can't fix things going on as we currently are.
