Taylor Swift is NOT cartoon music. But what bothers me about Nugent is that he doesn’t recognize how much genius goes into (the best) cartoon music. The work Carl Stalling did for Warner Btothers cartoons is far superior to anything Nugent has done.

And I’m not knocking Nugent’s music. Even fools are often good at something. Nugent’s music, well some of it, is decent.

But he’s no Taylor Swift. Or Carl Stalling.
