Thank you for this. I am a non-believer but I am furious at hateful people calling themselves "Christians." They slander good people like you who actually are inspired to act in the spirit of Jesus who fed the hungry, healed the sick, told us to love one another, to turn the other cheek and to treat the stranger with kindness.

The loudest Christians do the exact opposite of what Jesus preached, and then selectively find passages in the bible to justify their own fear and hatred and bigotry.

I hope and believe that the majority of Christians are good people like you, and are just being drowned out by those fake Christians who commit blasphemy against Him.
