What you have written here is important and well said. You should have a much bigger audience.
Debasing renewable energy to protect the ongoing ecocidal destruction of the planet by a small band of ultra-wealthy and insane oil profiteers IS and HAS ALWAYS BEEN their goal. The tactics change but the goal is the same.
WE must stop allowing them to control the conversation. This is necessary because we are running out of time, and we must put the climate abusers on the defensive. They are, in fact, a minority.
Every sane person on the planet cares about human life, about their children, about Nature, about LIFE ITSELF. WE number in the billions, but still feel alone and powerless.
This is an illusion. We are NOT alone and WE are extraordinarily powerful. In fact, if we simply choose to NOT OBEY and NOT GO ALONG with the destruction of the Earth, we can easily stop the insane people who are leading the destruction.
Fixing the Earth will be harder, but we will put competent and caring people with the right knowledge and skills and ethics—climate scientists and engineers and young climate activists—in charge of a worldwide emergency program to stabilize the climate. And we will remove any law, rule, norm and leader who supports this destruction.
What is happening, what we have been allowing to happen, what we have been cooperating with, is insane. WE won't do it anymore.
