Thanks for this, Alexander. Soon, today’s politicians and businessmen will land on the ash heap of history, disgraced and forgotten. The sane and caring people, ordinary people who love their children and respect Nature, will take control because they must. And together, they—actually “we”—will do the sane people. We will put qualified climate scientists in charge of a worldwide emergency program to stabilize the climate and seriously address the crisis with meaningful action. We will sharply and quickly slash the use of fossil fuels.

We will be too late to prevent much of the damage—we continued to follow fools for far too long. But we will save the Earth and keep it habitable (if diminished) for our children and grandchildren.

We will also end forever the society built on sick values, and systems that worship things and money, and see human beings and the Earth itself as mere resources to be exploiting in a boundless pursuit of more wealth.

What we have today is insane.
