That’s the “Job” argument. It says, “I’m God and I can do what I want and it’s good if I say it’s good.” It’s an argument from authority—which is a logical fallacy.

If we simply give faith a free pass—“it’s true because I have a strong religious feeling that it’s true”—then discussion itself is a waste of time. We are talking past each other.
