The biggest evidence that fascism is rising in the United States unimpeded is that nobody is making a credible effort to enforce the 14th amendment to the Constitution. That makes people who engage in insurrection or provide aid or comfort to insurrectionists ineligible to hold any Federal or State offices. But our governments—both Federal and State are filled with people who openly provided and continue to provide aid and comfort to insurrectionists.

Remember—every single Federal officer is sworn to uphold the Constitution. But not a single one is doing so. Whether this is willful treason or incompetence doesn’t matter.

This is catastrophic failure and representative government—even to the minimal degree it exists in our plutocracy—cannot survive this failure.

I am considering filing a lawsuit to demand that the 14th amendment be enforced.
