The birth rate will need to come down. I think people will be inclined to NOT have children that they won’t be able to feed. I also think that, very unfortunately, the death rate will increase sharply as a consequence of climate mistakes we’ve already made.

It will be a very rocky road, but if we do the right things, our species can still have a surprisingly decent future.

Getting there will be a challenge…
