The crisis to end all crises is climate collapse and right now the policies of world leaders is accelerating our collective doom.
I believe we can and must stop them. In the process, we need to replace the sick worldwide culture of greed, and power lust and selfishness with community, cooperation, empathy and love.
We can stop the slide to doom AND build a positive culture simultaneously. To do so, we will need to band together and defy, expose and sabotage the systems and rules that are destroying everything. That is—totalitarianism, plutocracy, and essentially the entire power structure and status quo worldwide must end. These things can happen. Quickly. Look how quickly the Soviet Union fell once it was done.
The same can be true with the extraction economy, the planet-killing systems we have today. But we need to give it a strong push and be ready to take the reins. We especially need to put climate scientists in charge of policy worldwide to salvage what we can of our grievously abused Earth.
