The failure of our leaders DID take time. They had DECADES of advanced warning and consistently failed to make any meaningful effort.

It’s not that they failed—they made no real effort. They took money from oil profiteers and let them EXPAND use of fossil fuels when they should have been winding down.

Saving our planet and our children now will be much more difficult and our success is less likely—due to their failure.

And yes, the failure was of our leaders—the policymakers. Not us.

WE didn’t chose the fuel. Clean energy was not offered—they continued to sell us only deadly fossil fuels—almost exclusively.
