The religion has been hijacked by phonies who use His Name to promote their unholy agenda.
They say that the only thing needed for evil to triumphs is for good people to remain silent. This seems especially pertinent today when it comes to Christianity in America.
Americans who loudly declare themselves Christians, the ones who make the news and who are always in your face with self-righteous indignation, are the embodiment of Satan Himself. They actively fight against every major position that Jesus preached.
I’m calling them out. You should, too. The next time you hear their attacks, their demands, their condemnations, strike back with Jesus. Because He is on the side of good people, not the bigots who stole his Good Name for their selfish, greedy, bigoted and hateful agenda.
Prosperity Gospel
Many of these Fake Christians are obsessed with money and wealth. While Jesus overturned the tables of the moneylenders in disgust and embraced the poor, these Fake Christians typically do the opposite. They fetishize wealth, worship wealth, seek wealth and they are happy to swindle and cheat and lie to obtain more.
This is one reason why they so love Donald Trump who, among his many swindles, actually stole money from a charity that helps children who suffer from cancer. There is no bottom, morally, to the Fake Christians or their favorite politician.
The Fake Christians associate wealth with moral superiority and poverty with moral failings. Jesus does the exact opposite.
Love One Another
And turn the other cheek. And love your enemies. And be kind to the stranger and the foreigner.
These are probably Jesus’ most famous teachings, yet you will not hear them repeated by the Fake Christians.
When a dead immigrant child is washed up on a beach, they celebrate and make snide sarcastic comments. The only child they care about is an unborn one. And, truthfully, they don’t care even about an unborn child. They use unborn children as an excuse to harass women — and they really hate women — especially those who refuse to be subservient to men.
The Fake Christians are most identifiable NOT by their Christian love (they have none), but by what and whom they hate. This is, of course, the exact opposite of Jesus.
Jesus loved everyone (with the possible exception of the wealthy moneylenders) — He spent time with outcasts, lepers and prostitutes.
Fake Christians rage about Liberals, homosexuals, trans people, black people, Jews, women — especially independent women who want to control their own bodies, atheists, and people of any religion except Fake Christianity. I’m sure I’m leaving plenty of groups out because they hate so many people so much.
The Sex Thing
The obsessive discomfort — and fury — about sex by the Fake Christians seems pathological. They do not want consenting adults to have sex in any way that doesn’t meet with their specific approval.
Yet, they tolerate — and actually protect — all kinds of sexual abuse and sexual brutality within their own churches.
I’m not sure which is more apalling — that they excuse and protect widespread child sex abuse within their churchs, or the hypocrisy of simultaneously seething at consexual sex between adults.
Confront Them
I never seek out Fake Christians, and will never initiate a conversation with them. I feel the same way about them as I do about serial killers. Morally, they are pretty much equivalent.
But, when they spout their bullcrap in my face, when they attack, when they try to force their ways on others, we SHOULD speak out, sharply and directly. And do it so others can see, so that others will see that speaking out IS something we can and should do.
You can say something like this:
“You should be ashamed of yourself. You slander Jesus Himself. You use His Good Name to promote your agenda of hatred and bigotry. He taught us to love one another, to love our enemies, to be kind to the stranger and the foreigner.
His life was characterized by loving forgiveness.
You live for hateful condemnation. Jesus’ only withheld his affection from wealthy moneylenders. You worship mammon and follow the most selfish and hateful of Golden Calves — although yours is Orange.
Get away from me. Your behavior is repulsive.”
I’m holding back a bit, but that’s what I think whenever I see or hear a Fake Christian. I also think, why are the real Christians so quiet? I find this disappointing.
