The planet is at Code Red after decades of sabotage by the human race, led by clueless “clever” billionaires who are making the Earth uninhabitable for profit. On any sane planet, these actions would be recognized as criminally insane and the people who commit them and support them would be institutionalized.
Instead, a rare sane man — Wynn Bruce, who set himself on fire in front of the Supreme Court on Earth Day — is being gawked at by the escaped inmates while the planet itself continues to burn. Giant wildfires rage in Arizona, New Mexico, Nebraska and Bruce’s home state of Colorado. This is in April, before a long, hot and dry summer. Nobody except perhaps firefighters and people who’s homes are endangered seem to care. People are more concerned about the price of oil, not that burning oil is destroying the lives of their own children.
Wynn Bruce is trying to wake up these clueless fools. He’s not the tragic figure. We are.
