The ideas you focus on aren’t the ones I noticed or have much trouble with. Although, I must say—fairly or not—I doubt that people who oppose surgery for trans children generally do so out of compassion for trans children. I feel that I’d analogous to people who said they favored states rights when they really just disliked black people.

That said, you give me the impression of being sincere and thoughtful. I believe you care and mean well. Nor am I confident that you are wrong. Or right.
