The most important election of all time was 2000. The American people chose Al Gore, a climate activist, to be president. They were overruled by an activist Republican Supreme Court that put their preferred candidate, a Texas oilman, in the White House.

I say that 2000—when a partisan court removed the last speed bump to climate collapse—was the most important in history. We are feeling the repercussions today and will continue to feel them until our untimely deaths.

UNLESS WE SO SOMETHING. Which I and a group of others intend to do. We call ourselves The Saners.
