The only meaningful climate action is ending fossil fuels and slashing C02 emissions. Everything else is greenwashing. Everything. The Inflation a reduction act. The Paris Agreement. The Plan to Plant A Trillion Trees. The biggest and most insulting lie—blaming it on consumers demanding that people stop using fossil fuels.

We HAD a planet-wide environmental crisis. Nobody expected consumers to stop buying Freon (in air conditioners) or stop buying aerosols (in hair spray and other products.)

In THAT case, we had competent and sensible people doing their jobs—Freon and aerosols were taken off the market. Quickly. Like they were dealing with an emergency.

Thirty five years after being warned the fossil fuel use must be ended, production and use continue to INCREASE even as the climate visibly snd violently collapses—just as climate scientists warned.

This is a catastrophic failure of every government, every giant business, every policymaker, and every authority on our dying Earth. WE must keep the spotlight on their failure, tell them they’ve failed and their time is up. Disobey them. Disobey every rule, regulation and law that enables this outrage to continue. Ridicule their lies and excuses. And tell them every goddam day that:

We demand an immediate worldwide emergency program, led by climate scientists, to end fossil fuels, end climate abuse, and repair our planet.
