The plutocrats are clever but also very stupid. They are dooming their own grandchildren to a desperate struggle for survival on a post-apocalyptic Earth that they chose to create. Anyone who thinks money will protect them is deceiving themselves.

Compared to what’s coming, todays violent storms, deadly wildfires and terrible heatwaves are like the Garden of Eden.

I’m writing to these powerful people directly, asking them to think of their own children and grandchildren. Many of these powerful people are smart enough to understand—but they have tunnel vision.

These letters are a long shot—how often have you gotten someone to change his/her mind?—but it’s the best idea I’ve got.
