The plutocrats of the West have failed dismally to do anything meaningful about climate collapse—except accelerate it. And yet, compared to Xi and Putin and the rest of this bunch, the Western leaders are like angels in heaven.

Both blocks are speeding us towards doom—but the totalitarians are doing it with absolute glee. Biden and Macron and others in the West feel a nagging concern. Not enough to make them do what’s required, but many leaders of the West are decent human beings working within systems that discourage anything except maximizing shareholder returns.

Xi and Putin are just asses.
