The rich are in control for one reason only: we've forgotten how weak and vulnerable they are. These are most stupid people—because they don't need to be smart. They've never struggled so they've never learned.

But the key point is THIS: the rich and "powerful" have only ONE power: our obedience. Once they lose that, they are a bunch of (mostly) geriatric toothless old men.

WE need to say no to them (not all of us, but enough of us), and assert that WE are now in charge, that WE will now support the scientists and shut down the fossil fuel industry, and slash production of everything except essentials, and never ever work a moment more of our lives to enrich an undeserving elite—whether that's a western plutocrat or a dictator or a communist. We don't care who the elite is—we serve humanity and Nature.

That's been the message of The Saners, a group that intends to prevent climate collapse and build a sane and humane society. We plan to recruit, build our numbers and then use nonviolent noncooperation to remake the world.

Our appeal should be very broad, but history shows we need less than 4% of people to enact BIG changes. We aren't virtue signaling. We are going for it.
