Let’s stop pretending we are two hundred different “nationalities.” When we slice the planet into pieces, and call it “property”—well, of course we fight and destroy everything.
I am an Earthling. So are you. We all live on a planet with many other Earthlings. A few billion are human beings. Others are flora and fauna. We share this planet together.
None of us own it. We all have an obligation to take care of it. Common sense says you must protect the planet you live on. Minimum decency tells us that we want to leave the place in good condition for those to follow.
Doing (and thinking) the exact opposite is the norm in the current civilization. The current civilization is insane.
We call on all Earthlings with an urgent message. STOP destroying the Earth. STOP letting Earth-destroyers control the conversation. STOP obeying demands to destroy. STOP destroying the Earth for hire.
It is not your job to drill, mine, produce, process, sell, buy or burn fossil fuels. It is our responsibility to end all that—quickly.
This is a responsibility to ourselves, to each other, to future generations of Earthlings. To continue as we are, to follow the status quo, would be unforgivable.
