We aren’t focused on placing blame for the climate crisis. We have one thing in common: a commitment to force the world to listen to the scientists and take the necessary actions — ASAP.
I have a lot of opinions. Lots of them. And I WILL voice them. Some will be controversial. Some will be dull. Some will be odd. Some will be off-putting.
But my opinions don’t matter that much. They are just my personal thoughts and ideas. What’s most important is what I myself, and what other people (like YOU) actually DO. That’s what will determine what direction our lives and the life of our planet takes.
We aren’t going in a good direction right now. We are driving full speed off a cliff with our eyes purposely closed tightly. Most of us don’t want to look, or are incapable of seeing. But we cannot keep going like this.
It’s the contention of the Saners movement that it is literally insane to ruin the planet that you live on. So, the actions of oil executives and big shareholders are insane. The policies of governments are insane. The behavior of nearly every giant corporation is insane. All of these institutions and people are behaving in a way that SIGNIFICANTLY contributes to the rendering of our Earth uninhabitable.
