We are a group of sane and caring people who want our children to live on a habitable planet in a humane society.
If you want the planet to remain habitable and you want your children to have happy and healthy lives…well, then you are a Saner. If some particular politician or some narrow ideology or some other idea is more important to you than a habitable Earth and a caring society — then perhaps we aren’t for you.
The Saners is an idea that a huge number of people can get behind. People who may disagree on other things. But for who the well-being of their children and the maintenance of a habitable planet are very, very high priorities.
Welcoming ALL Saners
We will all need to get used to the idea that we are a community of people who agree on certain very important things — but may disagree on others. That’s fine because we are a community, a group of people united by a common purpose. We are not clones or automatons, nor are we fanatics who hate everyone who doesn’t agree with us on every goddam thing!
This is very important. As you know, if the Earth’s biosphere is destroyed, the future for our children and grandchildren is dim or nonexistent. Who wants that? Even the wealthiest and most influential fossil fuel profiteers…
