Talking with the Shell CEO about climate is like asking Hitler how we can prevent the Holocaust. Only the scope of Shell’s crime is much much bigger.

Of course, we have all kinds of usable clean and renewable energy technologies. We have them for decades and they keep getting better. But WE as a species continue to expand the use of fossil fuels in large part due to Shell, and BP, and ExxonMobil, and all the rest of the climate criminals.

The climate isn’t changing—it’s BEING CHANGED. To refer to climate change is like talking about a murder victim and pretending that the victim died of natural causes.

Maybe we should call it climate mass murder and refer to those most responsible as ecocidal maniacs.
