The starkest example I can think of is that engineers were overruled by managers—who were focused on money and the schedule and their paying customers…and 7 astronauts died.

Even some of those managers KNEW how dangerous it was. But they still told the actual experts—engineers—to sit down and shut up.

Yes, the scientists can let others weigh in, but it’s the climate experts who need to be in charge to save the climate.
