The truth is nothing has been done for decades because the people in power don’t want to do anything. A small number of very wealthy people but politicians and make policy.

This isn’t a revelation or a secret. It’s what K Street is all about. It’s common knowledge, but we’re supposed to forget that and believe that governments make policy based on what voters want.

When was the the last time you’d congressman asked you what policies you wanted? And when did he talk with the lackey of a wealthy donor and do exactly what he was told?

We all know the answer. To the first question, probably never. And to the 2nd, all the time.

So we have to tell the people who make the decisions—the wealthy bribers and the politicians who take the bribes (nearly but not quite everyone in a high office).

They are responsible and if they are allowed to continue, both the climate and civilization will collapse and the suffering and death with be unprecedented.

Let’s not soft peddle this or get lost in the weeds.

The rich are destroying the Earth for profit and their ridiculous belief in their own power allows them to believe they don’t be consumed by the Earth shattering consequences of their folly.

Their own grandchildren will suffer with the rest of us. They are clever morons, but mostly morons hypnotized by their own greed and undeserving egos.
