The United States has been and continue to be an imperialist power. The country tries to (and often does) dominance other countries, putting into power and supporting brutal thugs who protect American businessmen’s financial interests. They do this even at the price of literally destroying the habitability of the the Earth.

But the United States is not alone. Those who are stupid, selfish, and brutal enough to destroy the planet includes nearly every government on Earth. We’ll know when we have an honest and responsible government (somewhere) when one declares a climate emergency and actually TAKES THE ACTIONS RECOMMENDED BY CLIMATE SCIENTISTS to stabilize the climate.

That would mean the end of fossil fuels and a vast and speedy expansion of clean energy—among other measures. But no—these leaders and fools who support them say that they must continue as they are. Destroying the Earth is “pragmatic” and people won’t put up with measures to save their own children from doom.

I call bullshit.
