The United States — the Country and the Ship — Are Going to the Bottom
The S.S. United States and the country that shares the same name are being intentionally sunk at the same time.
I live in Philadelphia where the historic ship that holds the trans-Atlantic crossing speed record is days from being towed away and sunk.
Similarly, a few days ago, American voters decided to abandon the ship of state and embrace fascism.
Millions chose to side with an insurrectionist, a rapist and a felon who openly calls for the country to submit to him personally. The Republican Party fell in line, either because they love the fascist and hate America. Or they are simply cowards.
Who cares what their motivations are? They have failed catastrophically as human beings and as Americans for years.
Fascism requires obedience. Protests won’t help. Fascists shoot protesters. But they need our labor, our active support. Fascist leaders can’t wipe their own asses. When we stop helping them, we expose how weak and helpless they are and have always been.
We do the work. All of it. Lets stop working for evil fools and start working for sanity, for humanity, for our loved ones, and for our Earth.
Let’s let fascism, and climate abuse sink to the bottom of the ocean. All we need to do is abandon their ship. Fools can’t keep their ship afloat without us.
