Money, guns, technology, algorithms and authority are nothing compared to actual human relationships.
For all the hype, Artificial Intelligence is nothing compared to a smile and a wave with a neighbor. I’m not afraid of AI. I’m not even interested in it.
The subject of the month, or week, or day, or hour—AI or whatever is hyped on the internet, on various media, by authorities and opinion-makers? I don’t care about it. Or them.
Those sources and people are no more significant or interesting than my neighbors. Actually, they are less interesting. Because they are phonies and my neighbors, even those with whom I disagree, are real people who I can see, with whom I can have a genuine conversation. The hyped subjects are a distraction, a diversion, intended to keep us apart and to retain a cruel, exploitive and often violent status quo.
A campaign of friendship can end all of that. Kindness eradicates cruelty, and so everything is done to discourage it. The biggest threat to tyrants and abusers and exploiters is love.
I do a lot of thinking and speaking to people. Real breathing talking walking thinking feeling people. Not bots. People I see in person.
