Brigitte! Absolutely right!

There IS such a danger. We are aware. In part, that’s why this is designed as a movement led by ideas, not personalities.

We are not specifically aiming to topple governments. Indeed, around the world many governments are already dictatorships. We want to check the power of all governments, and eliminate their abilities to abuse people and our planet.

We favor representative government but see the forms as less significant than who wields ultimate power. When that ultimate power rests with the people—who can refuse to cooperate with cruelty—we think that will do the job.
